 Perforated plastic retort separator sheets are widely used in food and drink sterilization equipments as layer pads in autoclave and canned retort. There are usually two materials which can be used for making perforated retort separator sheets,they are perforated polypropylene sheet and perforated polyethylene sheet. 

The retort separator sheets are usually used in very high temperature working conditions,which is between 120 and 150 celsius. Perforated PP sheet is ok when the working temp. is about 130 celsius,while some sterilization process needs working condition of 150 celsius, in which,the perforated PP sheet can not meet the requirements.

According to our investigation, perforated nylon sheet can withstand temp. of more than 150 celsius, CN Perforated Plastics has developed this kind of perforated plastic sheets and done the test,the test result is favorable.

Compared with PP retort separator sheets, the nylon retort separator sheets are of high cost, therefore, it will not widely used for sterilization.
